Remain calm Your first week will be a whirlwind of new people and new information. Take lunch Many employees are so focused on their new position that they forget to eat. Be social, invite some new coworkers! Ask questions You’re new, people will forgive you if your questions are frequent, a month/two down you might not be so lucky. Put your best foot forward Set a good first impression arrive on time, dress professionally, and don't get overly comfortable. Be friendly, yet remain professional. Focus Turn off your phone, close your Facebook tab, and focus on the task. Smile and try to enjoy yourself Keeping a positive attitude will not only make you seem more approachable, it can also shape the way you feel about your day.
