After article after article slamming the traits of Millennials, it was nice to read this one where someone looks at it from a different perspective.
Growing up with so much technology has definitely made us different from those in older generations but not necessarily lazier. I did a Passle at the beginning of the year on the In's and Out's of Millennials which showed us to be ambitious and eager to advance faster up the career ladder.
If you think millennials are lazy… “We’ve heard it before.” Every generation has heard the generations before them complain about how lazy they are for various reasons – it’s really nothing new. If you think millennials are entitled… It’s without a doubt that millennials have been raised through times of great innovation. For some, this may lead to lack of fulfillment and unmet expectations. However, for others, this may be the very mindset that drives them to achieve the impossible. If you think millennials are narcissists… Though technology has given them the power to access things easily, it has also given them the opportunity to think beyond the limits of traditional barriers that had previously existed.
