Great article and some excellent advice! Preparation is key!
How you respond to, "Do you have any questions?" at the end of an interview is so important.
Asking good questions in an interview gives you the opportunity to stand out from other candidates and get some inside information on whether the employer is a good fit for you.
The key is to use the 4Cs to guide you. 1) Connect - ask questions about the hiring manager that relates to their own role at the company. 2) Corporate Culture - inquire about the qualities and traits of people who are best suited to be a part of the company. 3) Company Challenges - identify the challenges the company has in achieving its goals and how the job you are applying for will help overcome them. 4) Closing Conversation - find out if you have failed to provide any information that could help the hiring manager in their decision to choose you and clarify the next steps in the hiring process.
