Great article by Lucy Huxley.   The traditional travel businesses like TUI, who have digitalized themselves ultimately reduce transaction and staffing costs, increase returns to scale from aggregated data, and enjoy a rise in the quality of digital talent and intellectual property.  Innovation is key, but also is staff inclusion in the digital strategy.  Tui is clearly making waves.  No doubt they will pick up a few gongs at this year's Travolution Awards.  They scooped a fair few this week at CIMTIG awards!
